Description This course is taught in English. It provides an introduction to the study of Iberian culture and civilization. Iberia is the area now occupied by Spain & Portugal. The course includes historical perspectives, political issues, the arts, and cultural mores among other topics. Students will be engaged in small group activities, debates, and discussions and the course will include contrast and comparison of Iberian culture with that of the U.S. and other nations.
