| Description |
This is an advanced study (combined painting and drawing media) from life model focusing on figure’s anatomy, proportion, color, composition and the surrounding environment. The primary media will be traditional charcoal, watercolor and oil. The subjects of portraiture and figure drawing /painting in both historical and contemporary approaches will be discussed. During the semester, students will develop a portfolio of strong figurative work.
May be repeated up to 8 credits.
