Title Craft Seminar

Description A class based primarily on discussion of how authors use various strategies to achieve narrative, poetic, or dramatic success. An intensive examination of the craft of fiction, nonfiction, poetry, or script writing. Conducted as a reading seminar, not as a writing course. Students will make an oral presentation on some element of craft exhibited by a chosen work. Successful completion of ENGL 288 and 388, and at least Junior status are recommended. Course may be repeated as genres change.
