Description	This course explores education in America from early childhood through high school graduation. This course will introduce the philosophical foundations, learning environments, social contexts, curriculum and instruction, standards and assessment, as well as contemporary issues related to the field. The roles, responsibilities and daily life of teachers, schools and students will be examined. This course includes 40 hours of experience in the field.
