Description This course explores developmentally appropriate practices for methods and materials in early childhood curriculum. In this course, students explore child-centered educational practices and early childhood curriculum models. Students will examine learning materials and environments that foster creativity in children’s learning and development. Constructivist approaches to hands-on learning of children age 3-8 will be emphasized through analyzing materials and developing creative resources to use in an integrated curriculum.
